Celebrations of Wonder 4

When I first began gathering the material I wanted to include in Celebrations of Wonder, I asked a dear friend if she had anything she'd like to contribute. The following is the article she wrote.

P.S. I looked and looked and couldn't find anything that even approximated what she describes here. Talk about Wondrous !!

Life's Special Moments

Early the other morning, my husband and I went down to the beach to feed the seagulls and enjoy some quiet time before we had to get started on our busy day.

After playing with the birds, we sat down to enjoy the beauty of the water and the bright reflection of the sun off its surface. For some unknown reason, I looked up to the sky and saw three lacy, feathery clouds.

They were individual, not touching each other and looked identical. There was one cloud at the top of the sun, one to its left and one to its right. In the center of each of these wispy clouds was a rainbow arch.

I wondered how this was possible. You see, there was no rain or moisture in the air and practically no humidity. It had been dry all morning.

I had never seen anything like it in my life. I quickly decided that this beautiful vision was truly a gift from God. I turned to my husband to see if he was also witness to this Wondrous sight and he, too, was having the same privilege.

I looked around at all the people on the beach that morning and Wondered how many of them were sharing in this moment?

I’ll close by saying "...THANK YOU, GOD FOR A WONDERFUL DAY WITH ITS SPECIAL MOMENTS AND MAY I BE A BETTER PERSON TOMORROW THAN I WAS TODAY.”
