Little Patch of Blue

Written yesterday 2.5.14

It was a very gray day today … I mean the sky was overcast and gray. I don’t know about you but on days like this my mood always seems to match the weather … they’ve (whoever They are) even given this phenomenon a name … S.A.D. … Seasonal Affective Disorder.

Anyway, I was driving down I-75 this afternoon and out of the corner of my eye … in the midst of this ceiling completely covered with no less than 50 shades of grey … I saw a small patch of blue.
"Not exactly but this is the closest I could find to what I saw. The blue was much bluer."
The phrase or title Little Patch of Blue popped into my head … and I could see so clearly that the sun was actually shining and the sky was bright blue … Sky Blue. They were just being obscured by the gray cloud cover.

I then began to think about my post yesterday Let Your Light Shine … “no matter what appearances tell you” … So often, appearances are just that ... appearances ... Not the Real Truth.

Despite whatever current circumstances we may find ourselves in … Gray skies or not ... We must always remember the sun is still always shining and the sky is always blue …

Thanks for the read ... What do you think?
