One of today's alerts was entitled "Draw Your Best Doodle to Win Big." It didn't give the entire article but I found the intro interesting ...

The next one "Turning Doodles into Dollars" is from the Norfolk News. It tells about 10-year old artist and cartoonist, Stephen Squires, who came up with the idea to sell his drawings and donate all of the proceeds to Norfolk General Hospital where his mother works.
“It makes me feel really special,” Stephen said of his newfound fame. “I make artwork, but usually the only place I see it is in my room or on the fridge. It’s pretty neat to see it somewhere else.”In addition to cartoons, he draws and writes comic strips, “If I’m stressed out, it lowers my stress,” he said of his lifelong hobby.

The final article, "Daydream Doodles' " talks about Bangkok-born Isara “Ids8” Thaotong.
"After a one-and-a-half year spell in the grown-up role of architect, following his graduation with a degree in fine arts from Rangsit University in Bangkok, Ids8 decided to get serious with doodling, leave the capital and open a gallery on the holiday island of Phuket to share his daydreams with the country."
Ids8 (a combination of a nickname and his birth date) began to draw at age eight ... by age 12, "Peepho," a loveable, fat character that 'Peeps' around the edges of drawings, came into being.
Now, "Peepho" travels the world ... a world derived from Ids8's daydreams and flights of fancy.
