By now, you know that I Love Color ... and I Love Dance ...
What you might not know is that this week Hindus around the world are celebrating Holi, The Festival of Colors. Celebrating the arrival of spring, Holi is observed on the last full moon of the lunar month.
One source, The Atlantic, explained that "Participants traditionally throw bright, vibrant powders at friends and strangers alike as they celebrate the arrival of spring, commemorate Krishna's pranks, and allow each other a momentary freedom -- a chance to drop their inhibitions and simply play and dance."
India Times, however, described Holi as "a festival celebrated in India to signify the triumph of good over evil" ... having its roots in traditional Indian mythology.
